Major Harris has
been singing with the The Delfonics since 1968. He
did a solo album in 1975 titled My Way on Atlantic
Records. It sold 8 Million copies. The Single release Love
Won't Let Me Wait received a Gold Record, a Grammy Nomination
and 8 weeks at Number One R&B/Pop. In 1975, he was the
largest selling male Pop/R&B Soloist for Atlantic Records.
Jealousy was his second solo album on Atlantic Records,
which was a Platinum seller. Single releases, Jealousy
(Platinum), It's Got To Be Magic (Gold) and I Got
Over Love (Gold). Recorded a new album with the The
Delfonics in 1998 on Sony titled Greatest Hits &
More. Performed at the French and British Embassy, Cashmen
Theatre, Las Vegas, Wilshire Ebell Theatre, California.
Pat Palmer, solo artist,
opening act for such groups as: The Temptations & The
Four Tops (In England), The Ojays, Jimmy Ruffin,
The Impressions, The Marvelettes, GQ, Force MD, The Drifters,
The Delfonics, & Major Harris. Joined The Delfonics
as background vocalist. Sang background vocals on The Delfonics
Greatest Hits & More CD released in 1998, with
William "Poogie" Hart, Randy Cain & Major Harris
(The original Delfonics). Sang on such songs as La
La Means I Love You and Didn't I Blow Your Mind.
Performed at the French and British Embassy, Cashmen Theatre,
Las Vegas, Wilshire Ebell Theatre, California. Nationally
toured the United States with the Delfonics.
Frank Washington has
been singing with The Deflonics for over 30 years,
with both Wilbur Hart & William Hart. Recorded with Gamble
& Huff from 1972 to 1992 as a studio singer. Recorded
with such groups as The Ojays, Spinners, Harold Melvin, Billy
Paul, Teddy Pendergrass and MacFaden & Whitehead. He was
the lead singer for the group The Futures. Single releases
include Love Is Love and Parttime, Partytime Man.
He has toured the world, U.S.A. and Canada (as a back up lead
vocalist) for The Delfonics and sang on The Delfonics'
CD released in 2000.
